Contact and Survey Information

Most of the information we collect is provided voluntarily by visitors to our site. Any information the visitor provides, whether it is to join our panel, participate in a study, or to request information, is strictly used for market research-related purposes. The information you provide is NOT shared with other organizations for commercial purposes. Any contact information you provide us, (phone, e-mail, company name, address information, etc.) will only be used to contact you regarding a valid market research study or to respond to an inquiry about the services we provide.

Note for Tech Surveys Panel and Survey Participants

A. Our Privacy Policy means that we will not sell or give any panel or survey information you provide us to a third party. Only those on the Tech Surveys project team (i.e., analysts, project managers, web programmers, etc.) would have access to the data. Additionally, all survey responses are aggregated and analyzed on a group, not on an individual basis.

B. We do not disclose the identity of survey participants to our clients. This anonymity helps ensure that respondents, like you, answer survey questions honestly and without concern of being contacted for sales calls or sales leads.

C. Participation in our panel and surveys is always voluntary. You can "Opt-Out" at any time. Our web survey e-mail invitations include an option to "unsubscribe." Simply "reply" back to the e-mail, then type "unsubscribe" in the subject area, and we will remove your name from our database. **Please be sure to respond with the original e-mail address you provided us or registered with, otherwise, we will not be able to locate you to remove your name from our database.

How We Track Website Traffic

Our web server does not collect personal information that identifies our visitors (such as domain name or e-mail address). We do not set cookies.

For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes your IP address. An IP address is simply a 32-bit numeric address that has four "groups" of numbers separated by periods. For example, 1.240.20.600 could be an IP address. Each time you request a page or information when you are web surfing, the host server receiving your request needs to know where to send the information. It sends it to the requesting IP address, which would be you.

Our goal is to continually improve our website for visitors. IP address information acts a counter for us so we can monitor, track and troubleshoot data exchanges with our website. This information is aggregated and does not reveal personal information about visitors to our site.

The IP address information we collect helps us to:
• Understand the traffic or "hits" to pages on our website.
• Improve the design and layout of our website.
• Troubleshoot technical problems.
• Help visitors who may experience technical problems during a web survey.
